We are Shoveling our Driveway with a Broom.
Hello everyone! What a great and crazy week it has been! First off yesterday and today we got over a foot of snow! Washington is in panic mode hahaha. We saw a guy outside trying to clear off his driveway with a broom ha! Then this morning we had to shovel our car out with dust Pans! But I am happy to report we made it out safety 🏻
Byron is doing amazing! I am so excited for him to be baptized this Saturday! He has changed so much and even his countenance is brighter. The gospel changes lives. We had a really cool experience with Melvin this week as well. He came to watch a baptism and afterwards we gave him a little tour of the church. We invited him to be baptized but he is still hesitant in committing. President Manwaring from the stake walked up and started to talk with him. He invited him to

church and Melvin was like "can you wiggle your ears?" We all said we couldn't of course but president Manwaring came back with " have you ever seen a prophet of god wigglehis ears?" Hahaha as we watched the video of president Monson Melvin was shocked as well as amused haha! He replied " well I guess I will be at church" oh man! It was pretty great! Afterwards he told us we got lucky, but I say it was the spirit no doubt
Mary and her grandson Jason came to church and loved it! Everyone was very friendly and at the end of relief society we sang I need thee every hour. I told her it was my favorite and when I looked over in the middle she was crying. She said it was a powerful song️ It is just so amazing to see how the spirit works in people's lives. God is so aware of each of us and What we need.
Highlight of the week: Lexie got her mission call! She has been called to serve in the Jacksoville, Florida mission! She is going to do so good and touch so many people's lives. She goes to the MTV in march. Such a tender mercy to watch your convert decide to serve the Lord because a mission is the best 18 months for your life. I love her so much! I love my Savior. This is His work.
Your sister in Christ,
Sister Northrup
