McCrae Barbie
Hello Everyone! It has been a one in a million week! We found a bunch of new investigators! It is the coolest thing when you pray to know where to go knock on doors and God leads you to those that are prepared:) We got to teach a lot of investigators about the restoration right on their doorstep and invite them to be baptized. NOTHING BETTER THAN PREACHING THE GOSPEL. Sister McCrae and I are having a grand ol' time together. Her nickname is McCrae barbie because she really looks like a barbie no joke. I just love serving with her so much! We just enjoy the work together, and that is nice because some aspects of missionary work are hard at times, but she makes me enjoy being here even more. As thanksgiving approaches I have been thinking about everything I am grateful for and it is a lengthy list! Without a doubt the biggest blessing in my life is the gospel. I don't know what I would do without it. I know everyone says that but its true. We met a lady named Melissa last week outside and went back to teach her this week. She just had her mom pass away and needed some hope. She was looking for a church for her kids. While we told her the first vision, she looked at the picture in the pamphlet and said "This is true." She is such a great lady! Keep her in your prayers please! She needs the gospel! Sammi is doing very very well. She is starting to recognize the Holy Ghost and is praying more regularly. We had an incredible lesson about the Savior's life. It made me realize how much knowledge I have gained over my lifetime about Him. Sammi is starting at ground zero because she was never taught that stuff. It is incredible to watch the Savior's love fill her life. Also we are teaching a part-member family named the Shaubs. They are such a cute family. We are working towards getting their 9 and 8 year old kids baptized. They are so sweet! Speaking of kids the primary program was this Sunday and it was so good! Their were a ton of kids and they sang so loud hahaha. It was great! Plus a bunch of people invited their friends to come watch and they came!!!!! These wards are just amazing.
Last but not least... We went on a hike in Eatonville to some hidden waterfalls! So stunning! I love being outgoing and outside with Sister McCrae. We took some super cool pics, so check them out! Love you all! Be grateful!
Your Sister in Christ,
Sister Northrup
