Soccer!

Hey Everyone! It was a great week!

It started off with an amazing Halloween p-day! We all got together as a zone for the first time ever and played indoor soccer!!! It was the best. Sister McCrae and I had a good ole' time competing against each other haha. But it was all in fun;)

This week we had so many appointments set up! And slowly but surely all of them cancelled.... BUT we had faith! We just went to work and Heavenly Father rained water, blessings, and miracles upon us:) It got to teach a girl the first vision and invite her to baptism right on her door step! It was pretty cool. We have quite a few promising investigators we are working with. I am just so grateful to be apart of God's great work. We filled our time with lots and lots of service as well! I got to can some more pears haha! (I am going to be pro by the end of my mission) We racked leaves, and vacuumed, and went to the food bank, and cleaned a kitchen, and any other kind of service we did it last week! It was the best. Service brings a special kind of light and happiness into your soul. I remember even as a little girl I would love doing things for people to help them. One of the greatest joys for me is serving my Father in Heaven's children! Some need it more than others, but it isn't for us to judge when we should give it. "When ye are in the service of your fellow beings, ye are only in the service of your God." I challenge you all to get out and serve this week! There are people that need our help and testimonies:)

Cultural Event of the week: I got to try authentic Thai food. The Hussain Family joined the church in Thailand. He was Hindu and she was Muslim. It was so interesting to hear how different their culture is and about how their marriage was arranged and many different things. It is so cool to see the diversity we have here in the States. This is a worldwide church. The Gospel with bless everyone who lives it:)
