The Move

Hello lovely family and friends! I hope you all had an enjoyable week! Mine was hectic to say the least haha! So we were told by the mission office this past wednesday that there was going to be a change in our housing. They then informed us the next day we would be moving into our new apartment SATURDAY! Therefore we cleaned and packed like crazy! Saturday we were moving and cleaning for 15 hours straight:) It was super tiring haha! But it was so worth it because we moved into some of the nicest apartments in the mission! 3 stories and brand new! It is way more space than we need, but we feel so much more at home there:) I am so grateful how much the Lord has blessed us. We have now accumulated 5 bikes. 3 of which are broken and need to be fixed! We are creating a bike shop in our new garage;) It is all good because Sister Whitney and I love fixing stuff. Also it is Sister Whitney's birthday today! She is 20! We feel old. Soon enough I am going to have to push her around in a wheel chair hahaha;) We are having a blast together! I love how hard she works and how much love she has for people. She connects with them well and helps the people we are teaching that we are there specifically for them. I am just so blessed! Great apartment! Great companion! Great ward! It can't get much better than that except for GREAT INVESTIGATORS!!!!!
Kyle is doing amazing! We had a bbq with his family and a couple of the families in the ward! It was a blast and they are doing great fellowshipping them into the ward. Kyle committed to be baptized! He is reading the book of mormon and came to church again this week! Plus Jaiden (his 9 year old) brought her friend! Who just happened to be the daughter of another lady on their street we are trying to teach! The gospel is just the coolest. Please pray for their family:) I just love them more than words can express. I think I say that I love them to Sister Whitney like 30 times a day! BECAUSE I DO!!! SO MUCH LOVE FOR THE LICHTSCHEIDL FAMILY!!!!
Another miracle of the week is Naancy!!! She is a little chinese lady we met walking her dog. She has such a deep love for the Savior. We went back to her home to teach her. We prayed hard for the gift of tongues because her english is very broken. I don't think I have ever felt the Spirit so strong in a nonmembers home before. As we talked with her all 3 of us were just in awe as we somehow understood each other. It was such a blessing. She is so prepared and I can't wait to teach her again! We are going to team teach with a Chinese Elder in our mission! So that will be a new experience!
I just love everyday here! The experiences are crazy and no week is ever the same haha, but I wouldn't change a thing. Everything I have gone through and will go through is helping me become the person God needs me to be. I am grateful to be a tool in His hands to bless His wayward children! I love you all! Have a great week
Your Sister in Christ,
Sister Northrup
