2016 Here I come!

Happy New Year everyone!! I hope you all had a great holiday, full of fun, family, and food. Now we hit the gym to work off all the cookies and treats hahaha;) It snowed in Eatonville this week and actually STUCK!!! There was like 2 inches on the roads which is like unheard of here!! Funny story. We were walking out of a members home after a lesson and they have a steep driveway. It was very snowy and still coming down. Brother Hutchings (the member) told us to be careful. I had already proceeded down the driveway and was about halfway. I turned around and yelled, "It's fine! I'm from Idaho!" Well right at that moment I stepped on ice and slipped. Right in front of their whole family I landed right on my behind in the snow. It was so hilarious and even more embarressing! We all laughed for a good 5 minutes hahaha. That will be a great memory after I go home!

We had a great week tracting and contacting this week! We got 3 new investigators! It was such a testimony building moment to me when that happened, because for the most part I have thought that my companions get better promptings than I do. But that day I prayed so sincerely to see miracles and visit the people that needed us most. It worked and Heavenly Father poured out promptings to me the whole day! I don't know that I have ever felt the spirit that strong in my entire life for that long of a period of time. Very cool! I have decided to learn more about the Atonement this year as my New Years Resolution. I have started reading Jesus the Christ and Oh my goodness! It is so powerful! I testify that Jesus Christ lives! He is our Savior and loves us so much! He has an outreached hand for all of us if we will only humble ourselves and come unto him! I love you all so much! Thank you for your kind and supportive words. They mean more to me than you will ever know! Have a wonderful week! I encourage you all as a goal for this year to pray for missionary experiences as a family! I promise a new spirit will come into your home as you ask the Lord to help you be a better missionary!
