Its Raining Blessings!!!

Hi everyone! This week has be AMAZING!!! I don't even know where to start because so much has happened this week. We received a challenge from our district leader this week to have members present at our lessons with investigators. We have struggled with this the past few weeks. The reason being many of our investigators are learning, but aren't progressing. The definition of progressing is keeping commitments basically. So Sister Parsons and I went to the source of all knowledge of course;) We prayed and prayed and prayed and prayed and prayed some more for our investigators and how we could help them progress. Well we got our answer and it wasn't what we expected. We decided if we wanted progressing investigators we had to be progressing missionaries. So we set goals on how to be better. Then we went to work. We ended up having 3 church tours this week! The hard part about that for us is that we have to have a priesthood at the church with us and everyone works in the middle of the day. So we had to open the ward directory and call and call and call and call and call some more! But we didn't give up until we found someone! The Lord provides after we have done all we can do! It was such an amazing experience to literally work harder and smarter, and then see the direct blessings from that work.

We now have a progressing investigator! It is Sister Barnes the lady we met outside the library crying. She came to all 3 hours of church this week, and then came to the mission devotional with a member in the ward that night. She is reading the Book of Mormon and is quickly building a testimony of Joseph Smith and the Church. Her faith in the Savior is expanding and she tells us everyday that God sent us to her. I love the gospel! I can't even express in words how much I love it! Just when I think I couldn't get any closer to the spirit or my testimony couldn't grow anymore.. it does. I love you all so much! And I know how much the Savior loves you all! I challenge you all to remember him in everything you do! Hope you all have a great week! Your Sister in Christ,
