Hola mi amigos y familia! This week has been full of miracles and tender mercies! Lots of tears have been shed between me, my companion, and some of our investigators! The Lord knows his children so well, and knows what they need and when they need it. I wanted to share a thought that was given at our mission devotional on Sunday. These devotionals are so unique! Basically all the missionaries invite their investigators to come to a meeting, that President Eaton speaks at. They show mormon messages, the missionary choir sings, and new converts bear their testimony! This one guy was asked to share and he was only baptized the day before! Unreal! He had such a strong spirit and it is so good for our investigators to hear how others came to know the truth. President Eaton talked to us about how the Holy Ghost is our GPS system. That our destination is eternal life with our Heavenly Father and as long as we tell the GPS to take us "home" then he will guide us. He gives us directions that are straight and give us the fastest route. However, sometimes we decide that we have a better way, but our detours usually lead to dead ends. We can pause and ask again though to go home, and the Holy Ghost (or gps) will reroute us back to the straight and narrow path back to Him. This only works however if we are willing to follow by faith that we are going the right way. Usually this map only tells us where to go one step at a time. We must trust that as we act and follow the first prompting, we will continue to recieve guidance as we continue foreward. Nephi showed this type of faith while building a ship. He didn't say okay Heavenly Father tell me all the steps... He asks first about how to make tools. The revelation was given and he acted upon that. After he was faithful and obedient, he asked for the next step. We much follow this example and follow our GPS with exactness, one step at a time. I testify that as we do this we will be guided to where we need to go. The Holy Ghost will give us direction as we pray with real intent and search the scriptures for truth. Of course never forget to find joy in the journey. I know that when my family is traveling in the car together we are crazy and laugh and have fun the whole way! Heavenly Father's plan is to find happiness in this life. I hope you are all doing well! I miss you all very much, but have learned more in the past 3 weeks than I ever have before. Missionary work is full of miracles. I hope we will all strive to share the gospel. I challenge you all this week to share your favorite mormon message with a nonmember or less active friend. After you do this email and tell me your experience! I would love to hear about your personal experience! I love you all! I want you to know that I know this gospel is true! I testify that through the Savior all things are possible. He loves us all so much and is waiting with open arms if we will only come unto him. I bear witness to his infinate and eternal atonement. It will change our hearts and bless our lives with purpose and direction! Have a wonderful week!
